April Samuels is a hard-hitting, mind-numbing, aggressive drummer/percussionist based out of Dallas, TX who is a Silverfox Drumsticks, Grover Pro and Stick-Flip endorsee. Presently, she is working with 49th Vibration, Money Shot, Rocket Girl, Uncle Dave's Rock Service, Unplugged Radio and sits in occasionally with The Ju Ju Beans. In addition, April is a former member of Aschere (aka Manny Trevin), Baby Jane Hudson, Bullitt, Cherry Blossom Clinic, Driver Nine (aka Eleven After), Eden Machine, Frognot, GIRL, Silvercloud (formerly Daniel Crisler), and The Whosoever Band, to name a few. She is also the former sound technician for LinC Band.
Over the past few years, she has worked with local Dallas favorites Courtney Fairchild, Gary Kyle, LinC Band, The Melissa Collins Band, Mutt, Rawly Punt, Triprocket, and Tiffany Shea Band.
Due to an already full plate through the years, April has had to turn down sitting in on performances and/or studio work with multiple highly respected fellow musicians including The Bandmates, Blueberry Tricycle, Cricket Taylor, Dan Joseph, Exit 380, Inner Frequency, Jesci, Lotus, Monster Rodd, Mosaic Minds, You & Me, ZionaurA, Zoom and more. The most common thing you'll hear April say is "I wish I could clone myself."
April is clearly one of Texas' most sought after players.
